Liam Hemsworth Shares Devastating Photo Of "What's Left" Of His Home

Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus tragically lost the Malibu home they shared together as a result of the uncontrollable wildfires that blazed across California.

Cyrus confirmed the news on social media, writing that she is "one of the lucky ones. My animals and LOVE OF MY LIFE made it out safely and that's all that matters right now." The 26-year-old singer went on to say that, while her house no longer stands, "the memories shared with family and friends stand strong. I am grateful for all I have left. Sending so much love and gratitude to the firefighters and L.A. County Sheriff's department!"

Just two days later, her fiancé is also taking to social media to talk about losing his home. "It’s been a heartbreaking few days. This is what’s left of my house. Love,” Hemsworth captioned the devastating photo of his ruined home. “Many people in Malibu and surrounding areas in California have lost their homes also and my heart goes out to everyone who was affected by these fires."

Despite the devastation, Hemsworth remains optimistic about the future. "Malibu is a strong community and this event is only going to make it stronger. Thankful for the all the great local guys that helped keep smaller fires out around my property. I love u guys. I love you Malibu. Thank you to all the hero firefighters around California," he wrote.

The 28-year-old Hunger Games actor concedes "it’s going to be a journey to rebuild,” though his message remains: love and resilience will guide him through.
