Queen Camilla is still attempting to heal from an unfortunate infection that caused her to miss multiple events last week, and recently canceled another outing.

Last Tuesday (November 5), the BBC obtained a statement from Buckingham Palace regarding the beloved royals health, citing the need for rest and recovery.

"Her Majesty The Queen is currently unwell with a chest infection, for which her doctors have advised a short period of rest. With great regret, Her Majesty has therefore had to withdraw from her engagements for this week, but she very much hopes to be recovered in time to attend this weekend’s Remembrance events as normal."

As the week progressed, The Queen was not well enough to attend Remembrance Day events alongside family members and was replaced by the Duchess of Gloucester.

Following the events, another statement was released signifying how disappointed The Queen was to have missed the parade, but wanted to avoid passing her "lingering infection" on to anyone else, per People.

"While this is a source of great disappointment to The Queen, she will mark the occasion privately at home and hopes to return to public duties early next week."

Queen Camilla is slated to meet the winners of the Booker Prize at her home in London on Tuesday (November 12), but she will not be attending the Gladiator II premiere on Wednesday (November 13).
