Glen Powell once went too hard showing off for his date that he accidentally broke her nose.
The Twisters actor appeared as a guest on Thursday's (September 25) episode of Jake Shane's Therapuss podcast where he opened up about a "gruesome" dating fail from when he was younger, per People.
"I would do this thing as a kid where I do like skateboard moves. You know where you jump off of something and kind of spin. You know? Alright, I was not as cool. Like parkour?" he said. "So I was doing skateboard parkour, didn't realize [my date] had followed behind me and I spun and knocked her... I elbowed her in the face and I broke her nose."
Powell said his date's face got "puffy" and she was "bleeding out" after the accidental injury, which he said foreshadowed his future dating prospects, claiming that it "really summed up my love life for the next like while."
The Hit Man star admitted that the romance fell apart fairly quickly as there was no real way they could move on from that awkward — and painful — mishap.
"I mean there's nothing to do. You ruined it in so many ways," he said. "She's, like, trying to play it off and it was, like, really not good."
Powell eventually found love with Gigi Paris, dating the model for a few years before they split in 2023. Earlier this month, he reacted to his ex's comments about the rumors surrounding an alleged romance with his Anyone But You costar Sydney Sweeney.
