Bob Peckenpaugh is the President & CEO of the Wheeling Park Commission comprised of Oglebay Park and Wheeling Park. This historic park system in Wheeling, WV encompass 2200+ acres of recreational and educational opportunities for local residents and visitors alike. Oglebay Resort, a robust travel destination, offers lodging, multiple dining venues, a full-service spa, 72 holes of golf, tennis center, multiple pools, stables, winter sports complex, 30-acre zoo and extensive programming for all ages.

Previously, Peckenpaugh served as general manager of the Edgewater Hotel, a luxury, water-front resort overlooking Elliott Bay in Seattle, Washington. There, he significantly improved the overall guest experience while driving substantial financial growth through community partnerships.

Prior to theEdgewater Hotel, Peckenpaugh served as the Managing Director of Omni Barton Creek Resort and Spa in Austin, Texas where he analyzed and reimagined the resort’s operations resulting in a $150 million-dollar renovation project comprising 100 additional guest rooms, a new conference center, spa, seven restaurants, and enhanced club offerings.Prior to this he led resort teams from Hawaii to Florida including multiple properties in California.
