Demi Lovato Reveals the Exact Moment She Fell for Joe Jonas

Leading up to the release of Demi Lovato's highly anticipated documentary, Simply Complicated, the 25-year-old singer released a seriously amazing video of her reacting to some of her old performances. This obviously included a few clips from the iconic Disney Chanel Original Movie Camp Rock, which is the movie that sky rocketed Lovato into teen super stardom. It's also where she met three life long friends: Kevin, Joe, and Nick Jonas. It's no secret that Lovato and the Jonas boys have had their share of ups and downs over the years (as all friendships do), but they've stayed close knit despite those obstacles. One of those obstacles, of course, was Lovato's short lived romance with the middle Jonas brother. The 'Sorry Not Sorry' singer opened up about that relationship during the video and it's giving us all the feels. Lovato revealed the exact moment she fell in love with Joe Jonas, and it's honestly the same moment we all fell in love with the teen heartthrob.

After playfully joking about Jonas', um, let's just say bolder hair styling choices from back in the day, Lovato's friend asked if she had a crush on her co star "this whole time" during filming. Lovato, with her signature candor, admitted to having feelings for Jonas long before they actually started dating. "Oh my god, wait," Lovato said as she watched her character Mitchie Torres walking down to the lake to meet up with Jonas' Shane Gray, "this is the moment I friggin fell in love with him. In real life."

She goes on to talk about their brief romance in 2010. When her friend asked how long the two actually dated, Demi gave a self deprecating laugh and said "like a month...a month or two." Despite their short lived relationship, the two have been able to remain close friends after their break up. According to E! News, Jonas has even recently described his Camp Rock co star as a member of the family. The DNCE frontman went on to say that he doesn't "think of her as an ex. We're really good friends. We've gone through so much together and we're really close now." We love hearing about the unbreakable bond these have formed. It always gives us some serious Disney Channel nostalgia when they post pictures of them hanging out together on social media.

While Jonas and Lovato have long buried the hatchet over their break up, new romantic rumors have recently sprung up concerning Lovato and a different Jonas brother. After releasing her new album, Tell Me You Love Me, fans have begun speculating that Lovato's song 'Ruin The Friendship' is about Nick Jonas. Neither have confirmed the rumors, however, it seems likely that the lyrics are describing the 'Find You' singer. Considering the elder Jonas doesn't think of Lovato like an ex, we can't imagine there would be any bad blood between the brothers if a romance did happen to spring up between Nick and Lovato.

Perhaps Lovato will open up even further about her deep ties to the Jonas family in her documentary Simply Complicated, which premieres on October 17th on YouTube. It's been confirmed through the trailer that Nick Jonas will make an appearance, so, we'll keep our eyes out for Joe, as well.
