Oh No! The San Pedro Fish Market Is Closing Next Month

The San Pedro Fish Market has been open for 65 years and it saddens us to hear that they will be closing on March 3rd😢

The reason for this is due to a new waterfront development called West Harbor that is under construction. But Michael Ungaro, who is the owner and CEO of the fish market, is looking to move to another location even though "it's been difficult to move 55,000 square feet and more than 2,000 seats to a new place." Some good news is that there will be a temporary location, which will be 4 acres of open space that can fit over 1,000 seats! Have you been to the San Pedro Fish Market? And if so what's your favorite memory from going. Click here for more.
