Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco are excited for what their family will look like in the future.

The Rare Beauty founder and her fiancé and I Said I Love You First collaborator appeared on a recent episode of the On Purpose with Jay Shetty podcast for a lengthy chat on topics like recording an album together and how to be kind to yourself as well as giving a deeper look into their relationship and even their future family plans.

While talking about their new joint album, Blanco admitted he can't wait to show their future children the project. Gomez stepped in to say that while she doesn't know when that will happen, she's "excited" for it nonetheless as she loves kids, as evidenced by her close relationship with her younger sister, Gracie. Gomez even once revealed that before her relationship with Blanco, she was considering adopting children as a single mom.

"I don't know when will happen, obviously, but I love children. I have an 11-year-old sister that I absolutely adore," she said, adding, "I love making [kids] laugh; they're just so sweet. So absolutely, when that day comes, I'm so excited for it."

Blanco shared how his fiancée is normally "the ultimate level of shy" but her disposition changes when it comes to speaking with children. He added how he thinks it's a holdover from Gomez helping "[shape] so many young people's lives" through avenues like Wizards of Waverly Place.

"When she walks into a room, her main goal is to disappear into the crowd... [She] and my mom are very similar," he said. "They'll wait and say like one thing throughout the night that winds up being the most poignant or funny thing of the night. But I'm gonna have diarrhea of the mouth talking to everyone... Whenever there's kids at a place it's the only time I see her do that. She immediately goes to the kids and has these conversations for hours with the kids."
